Refund Policy

Effective date: May 8, 2026

1. Overview

This Refund Policy explains when and how InstaPhotoAI (operated by DOTENVTECH SOLUTIONS LLP) issues refunds for subscription and usage charges. It applies to every customer of the Service and forms part of our Terms of Service.

2. Subscription billing

The Studio Plan is a monthly subscription that auto-renews on the same calendar day each month until cancelled. The platform fee is charged at the start of each billing cycle. Usage charges (image storage, face storage, and any other metered features) are accrued through the cycle and billed in arrears at the end of the cycle.

You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from the Billing page in your studio account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle; you keep access until then.

3. When refunds are available

The platform fee is refundable in the following situations:

  • First-time signup: if you cancel your first subscription within 7 days of the initial charge and have not published an event during that window, you are eligible for a full refund of that month’s platform fee.
  • Plan change pro-ration: if you upgrade or downgrade your plan and cancel within 7 days of the change, we will pro-rate the platform fee for the unused portion of the billing cycle.
  • Duplicate or accidental charge: we always refund duplicate transactions and obvious billing errors. Tell us at support@instaphoto.ai as soon as you spot one.
  • Service unavailability: if the Service is materially unavailable for an extended, continuous period that is our fault, we may issue partial credits or refunds at our discretion.

4. What is not refundable

  • Usage charges for image storage, face storage and any other metered features once they have been incurred. These reflect real costs we pay our storage and compute providers.
  • Platform fees after the 7-day window described above, if any event has been published or any guest gallery has been opened during the cycle.
  • Charges for cycles that ended more than 90 days before the refund request.
  • Razorpay processing fees, where Razorpay does not return them to us.

5. How to request a refund

Email support@instaphoto.ai from the email address on your studio account, including:

  • Your studio name and account email.
  • The Razorpay payment ID or invoice number.
  • A short description of why you are requesting a refund.

We aim to respond within 2 business days and to issue any approved refund within 7 business days of approval. The refund is returned to the original payment method via Razorpay; the time it takes to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card-issuer (typically 5–10 business days).

6. Failed payments and account suspension

If a recurring payment fails, we will retry it for up to 7 days and notify you by email. If payment still fails after the retry window, we may suspend new uploads and new event publishing until the balance is cleared. Existing event galleries remain visible to guests during the suspension grace period described in our Terms.

7. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please write to support@instaphoto.ai first — in almost every case we can resolve it faster and more completely than a chargeback. We reserve the right to suspend an account during the chargeback investigation and to recover from your account any chargeback fees that Razorpay passes through to us.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent change. Continued use of the Service after the change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
