Common questions
How accurate is the face matching?
We use the InsightFace Buffalo_L model (the same model class used by major commercial photo apps). On well-lit event photos, recall is consistently above 95%. The accuracy improves further when guests scan a clear, well-lit selfie.
Where are the original photos stored?
Original-resolution images live on your studio's private storage on Cloudflare R2. Guests only ever stream optimised previews. You can pull originals back to your machine anytime.
Is my guests' face data safe?
A guest's selfie is converted to a numerical embedding the moment it hits the server, the photo is discarded, and the embedding is stored only against that event. We never share embeddings between studios or events.
What happens if I cancel?
Your event galleries stay live for 30 days after cancellation so guests aren't cut off mid-album. After that, photos and face data are permanently deleted unless you reactivate.
Do I need a powerful computer?
You need a Windows 10+ PC with an NVIDIA GPU (8 GB+ VRAM) for the desktop processing app. Guests can scan and view albums on any phone or laptop — they don't need anything installed.
How do invoices work?
A new invoice is generated on the 1st of every month covering the previous month's usage. You can view, download and pay every invoice from the Billing page in your studio account.
